 We would like to be of help and support to those parents who have just learnt about the homosexuality of their daughter or son and are in pain because they feel it's hard to understand or accept it. We think we can share these discomforts with them by proposing ourselves as interlocutors and building the dialogue around a situation which we have experienced in person and overcame with success.
We know it is much easier to be understood by those who have experienced the same situation. Left alone, problems seem to be irrecoverable. Sometimes speaking about them is enough and everything gets simpler. We are at disposal of those who can not find the strengths to react alone. |

| We would like to let people know that parents of homosexuals are many (6 millions for the three million gays and lesbians estimeted to be in Italy): there are more and more parents who demand acceptance and respect for their gay children.
We are trying to build a new mentality. A mentality that will embrace and tolerate the diversities of all minorities. We want, with all our determination and strengths, to build an embankment against discrimination, unfairness, intolerance which our gay sons and lesbian daughters have to face every day in life in order to let them acquire, just like anybody, equal rights.
